Description
Job ResponsibilitiesJob Duties
- Prospect and develop new business relationships with local and regional clients
- Conduct needs analysis to understand client goals and challenges
- Create and present customized advertising and marketing solutions
- Sell across multiple platforms, which may include broadcast, digital, streaming, podcast, and
events - Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent communication
and service - Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams (programming, promotions, digital, creative) to execute successful campaigns
- Maintain accurate documentation, forecasts, and activity in sales systems
- Participate in sales meetings, training, and coaching sessions
- Attend client meetings, station events, and community functions as needed

- Comfortable creating and presenting proposals and recommendations to clients and
decision makers - Ability to build trust and relationships with a variety of clients

- Comfortable with data-first selling
- Organization and follow-through
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

Helpful (but not required):
- Sales, customer service, marketing, or business development experience
- Experience working with performance goals or incentives
- Familiarity with digital marketing, media, or advertising concepts
- Industry knowledge in at least one of our core categories: Home Services, Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, Franchises & Distributed, Non-Profit, Recruitment, Entertainment & Leisure, Mid-Market Retail & Restaurants, and B2B
- AI familiarity for prospecting and research
Work Requirements
- Reliable transportation, clean driving history and a valid driver's license (driving record will be checked)
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for client or station events
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to operate general office equipment (computer, phone, copier, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
- Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in fast-paced situations
- Ability to articulate information clearly and professionally to others
- Ability to develop presentation materials (e.g., slides, proposals) and present recommendations to decision makers in meetings (in person and virtual)
